When used according to directions, shrimp pHb helps to maintain the proper pH parameters of freshwater shrimp while supporting freshwater plant growth and softening water. Shrimp pHb is made from a unique buffer system, which is extremely stable and does not add sodium (which can damage freshwater plants in aquariums). Shrimp pHb can also be used alone to raise pH.
