When used according to directions, shrimp pHa helps to maintain the proper pH parameters of freshwater shrimp while supporting freshwater plant growth and softening water. Shrimp pHa is made from a unique buffer system, which is extremely stable and does not add sodium (which can damage freshwater plants in aquariums). Shrimp pHa can also be used alone to lower pH.
